Issues that this hotfix package fixes

When you delete list items through Recycle Bin in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, the versions of the list items are not deleted. Instead, they are orphaned in the AllDocVersions table. Therefore, the SharePoint database grows larger than expected.

To install this hotfix, you must have Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed.
