INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You insert a chart that is created in Microsoft Office Excel 2003 into an Office PowerPoint 2003 presentation.
    • The chart contains an accent color.
    • You open the presentation by using Office PowerPoint 2007.
    • You double-click the chart and then you select Convert.

In this scenario, the accent color is changed to black.

  • You insert an indexed Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) image into an Office Excel 2007 workbook or an Office Word document. You try to compress the image by using the Compress Pictures command. In this situation, the image does not get compressed.

  • You have an Office Excel 2007 workbook that contains a chart. The chart has a date axis. However, the data range of the chart contains many blank cells. In this situation, Office Excel 2007 may crash when you move the pointer over the chart.

  • You create a 3-D surface chart that is based on certain data in an Office Excel 2007 workbook. Then, you exit Office Excel 2007 without saving the workbook. In this situation, Office Excel 2007 crashes.
