To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Click OK to Apply The Changes Before Switching Views
Click OK before you switch views. To do this, follow these steps:
1. | Insert the image you want to convert to a JPEG onto the page. |
2. | Right-click the Image, and select Picture Properties. |
3. | Click to select the JPEG option. |
4. | Click OK. |
5. | Make any other changes to the image, such as changing the image size. |
6. | Save the page. |
Method 2: Rename The Files That Were Converted to JPEG To Have the .JPG File Extension
Rename the files that were converted to JPEG to have the .JPG file extension. To do this, follow these steps:
1. | Close all open pages in the Page view of FrontPage. |
2. | On the View menu, click Folders. |
3. | Right-click the image with a GIF extension, and click Rename.
NOTE: Make sure that the you have converted the image to JPEG. If the image is not a JPEG, it may not display in the browser. If you are not sure if the image is a JPEG, use method one on your images. |
4. | Change the file extension from .GIF to .JPG |
5. | When you are prompted to update the pages containing links to this image, click Yes. |
