Symptoms

When you use the Open File dialog box, FrontPage lists file types it is not able to convert. These file types include older versions of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Word for the Macintosh, WordPerfect, and so on.

When you try to open one of these file types, a message similar to the following may appear:
There is no Editor configured for MCW files.

Do you want to save file:///C:/WINNT/Profiles/Username/Desktop/Filename.mcw to a file?
NOTE: The file path varies, based on location of the file and the operating system.
