To resolve this issue, create a new Start menu shortcut. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and click Taskbar and Start Menu (On Windows NT, click Taskbar)
- Click the Start Menu Programs tab.
- Click Add.
- In the Command Line box, type the path to the FrontPage 98 file named fpexplor.exe. If you installed the program to the default location, following will be the correct path:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage\bin\fpexplor.exe"
NOTE: You must type the quotation marks for Windows to find the correct path.
- Click Next Twice.
- In the "Select a name for the shortcut" box, type FrontPage 98, and click Finish.
- In the Taskbar Properties box, Click OK.
