Symptoms

When you open a Web page that contains a Microsoft Office PivotTable Component, time values may be displayed incorrectly. In particular, totals that contain time values greater than 24 hours are displayed incorrectly.

Cause

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
  • The Office PivotTable on the Web page was published from a PivotTable stored on a Microsoft Excel worksheet.

    -and-

  • One or more of the data fields in the PivotTable sum a series of time values.

    -and-

  • Only the Grand Total in the Excel PivotTable is formatted to display times greater than 24 hours.

Workaround

To work around this problem, format the entire field that contains the time values to display times greater than 24 hours. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. In the PivotTable, select one of the cells that contains a time value.
  2. On the PivotTable toolbar, click PivotTable and then click Field Settings.
  3. Click Number.
  4. In the Category list, click Time. Click the sixth entry (37:30:55) in the Type list.
  5. Click OK to dismiss the Format Cells dialog box.
  6. Click OK to dismiss the PivotTable Field dialog box.
  7. Republish the PivotTable.
