Workaround

If the source files are formatted in text, CSV, SYLK, DIF, or dBASE (DBF 2, DBF 3, or DBF 4) file formats, open the files before you run the Consolidation command.

For the Consolidation command to work properly on a closed file, the file must be saved in either the Microsoft Excel file format (Normal) or the Lotus 1-2-3 (WKS, WK1, or WK3) file format.
