Workaround

Microsoft provides programming examples for illustration only, without warranty either expressed or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This article assumes that you are familiar with the programming language that is being demonstrated and with the tools that are used to create and to debug procedures. Microsoft support engineers can help explain the functionality of a particular procedure, but they will not modify these examples to provide added functionality or construct procedures to meet your specific requirements. Even though you cannot tile visible workbook windows if one of them is minimized, you can arrange them vertically or horizontally. You can also cascade the visible workbook windows.

To arrange workbook windows, use the following line of code:
Application.Windows.Arrange <constant>

In this line of code, <constant> can be one of the following four values.
   Constant Definition
   ---------------------------------------------------------------------

   xlArrangeStyleCascade Cascade the visible windows.

xlArrangeStyleHorizontal Arrange the visible windows horizontally.

xlArrangeStyleVertical Arrange the visible windows vertically.

xlArrangeStyleTiled Tile the visible windows (a combination of
                              horizontal and vertical arrangement).
