When you use the Anova: Two-Factor Without Replication tool in the Data Analysis ToolPak, you may receive the following error message:
Anova: Two-Factor Without Replication - Input range contains
non-numeric data
This behavior can occur when the input range contains either empty cells or
text.
To work around this issue, type a value of 0 (zero) into the empty cells in the input range. Doing so has no significant effect on the variation of the data.
This behavior differs from earlier versions of Microsoft Excel. Excel
5.0 and 7.0 allow empty cells in the input range. The Anova analysis tool in Excel 2000 does not work unless you remove the empty cells in the input range or replace them with values.
