In Microsoft Excel, you can move the yellow adjustment handles for a
callout to adjust the location and size of the callout. If a callout has three or more adjustment handles, when you move the handles, one of them disappears.

This problem may occur when you move one of the adjustment handles so that it is on top of another handle for the same callout. When this is the case, the handle beneath the other becomes unusable and may not be visible.

When this problem occurs, there is no way to recover the handle. If you
require the additional yellow adjustment handle to size or position the
callout line, you must re-create the callout.
