The following steps show you how to customize the worksheet menu bar
without displaying the
Customize dialog box.
Deleting a Menu
To delete a command from the worksheet menu bar, hold down ALT and drag the command from the menu to the workbook area. For example, to delete the
Help command, hold down ALT, point to
Help, hold down the mouse button, drag the item onto the workbook area, and then release the mouse button.
Reordering a Menu Bar
To move a command from one position to another on the worksheet menu bar, hold down ALT and drag the command to the new position (either left or right of its current position). For example, to move the
Window command to the left of the
Tools menu, hold down ALT, place your mouse pointer over the
Window menu control, hold down the mouse button and drag the
Window command until you see a thick vertical bar to the left of the
Tools command. Release the mouse button and the
Window command appears in the new position.
NOTE: These procedures also work on toolbars.
