When you drag a control from a UserForm onto a Microsoft Excel worksheet, the pointer turns into a "No" pointer (a circle with a
diagonal line through it), and you cannot drop the control onto the
worksheet. Also, if you cut or copy a control from a UserForm, you cannot
paste the control into a worksheet.

You can add ActiveX controls to your worksheets for making custom applications. The ActiveX controls that you can add to your
worksheet are on the Control Toolbox toolbar. To display the Control Toolbox toolbar, point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click Control Toolbox.
Many of the ActiveX controls are similar in form and function to the
controls on the Forms toolbar, but the ActiveX Controls are available for both UserForms (in Visual Basic Editor) and worksheets. The Forms toolbar controls are only available for worksheets.
