Cause

Excel 2000 does not load any default add-ins. This behavior occurs even if you select Run from My Computer for all add-ins when you install Excel 2000.

Resolution

  1. On the Tools menu, click Add-ins.
  2. In the list of available add-ins, click to select the check box of all the add-ins that you want to use.
  3. Click OK.

More information

When you install Microsoft Excel 2000, if you choose to install any add-ins, Setup copies the add-ins to your computer so that anyone can use them. However, Excel does not automatically load the add-ins just because they are selected in the Add-ins dialog box.
