Symptoms

When you attempt to open a file, you may receive the following error message:
&H00000001 is an Invalid Key
The file can not be loaded

Cause

This problem may occur if the following conditions are true:
The file was originally created in either Microsoft Excel 5.0 for Windows or Microsoft Excel 7.0 for Windows.

-and-
The file was saved in the Microsoft Excel 2000 file format.

-and-
The file is stored on a Novell NetWare network server.
