Symptoms

When you open a Web page that contains a Microsoft Office PivotTable list, you may be prompted to enter one or more parameters. The parameters listed in the Enter Parameters dialog box do not match the name that you assigned to the parameters in your query.

Cause

This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
  • You published the PivotTable list using the results of a query.

    -and-

  • The query is stored on a Microsoft Excel worksheet.

    -and-

  • You defined one or more parameters in the query.
