XL2000: Blanks Sorted Differently in Office PivotTable List

Symptoms

When you open a Web page that contains a Microsoft Office PivotTable list, blank values (shown as (Blank) in row fields and column fields) are displayed at the top of the list of values. This differs from the behavior of Excel PivotTables, in which blank values are displayed at the bottom of the list by default.

Cause

The Office PivotTable Component displays blank values at the top of the list by default. This behavior is by design.
