"Application has stopped working" error when you add a note in the Small Balance Write-Off (08.030.05) screen in Microsoft Dynamics SL

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in Accounts Receivable in Microsoft Dynamics SL:
  • In the AR Setup (08.950.00) screen, you select the Allow Small Balance Write Off in Payment Applications option.
  • In the Small Balance Write-Off (08.030.05) screen, you create a small balance write-off.
  • In the Note (98.260.00) From (08.030.05) screen, you add a note to the small balance write-off.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:

AR - Payment Application - "AR - Payment Application has stopped working"
