An outbound purchase order is not created because of a problem in the Outbound EDI Purchase Orders (44.409.00) process in Microsoft Dynamics SL


Symptoms

  Consider the following scenario in Purchasing and in EDI e-Commerce Gateway in Microsoft Dynamics SL:
  • In the Purchase Order Maintenance (04.250.00) screen, you create a new purchase order.
  • In the Note (98.260.00) from (04.250.00) screen, you add notes to the purchase order.
  • You run the Create Outbound EDI Purchase Orders (44.409.00) process.
In this scenario, the notes that were entered on the purchase order are not included in the IMPT file that is created. Additionally, there is a space between the header and the detail lines. Therefore, the outbound purchase order is not created as expected.
