The quantity from a 2-Step inventory transfer is not included in the Quantity Available calculation for an inventory ID when CPS is turned off in Microsoft Dynamics SL

Symptoms

 Consider the following scenario in Inventory in Microsoft Dynamics SL:
  • In the IN Setup (10.950.00) screen, you have CPS turned off. Additionally, the option to Include 2-Step Inventory Transfers and OM Transfer Orders is selected.
  • In the Transfers (10.040.00) screen, you create a 2-Step inventory transfer.
  • After you release the 2-Step inventory transfer, you review the Inventory Status Inquiry (10.220.00) screen for the inventory ID that was transferred.
In this scenario, you notice that the value in the Quantity Available box in the Inventory Status Inquiry (10.220.00) screen does not include the quantity from the 2-Step inventory transfer.

Resolution

Hotfix information for Microsoft Dynamics SL
