To disable SNMP on the Standard TCP/IP port:

  1. Open up Printers and Faxes.
  2. Select the printer you want to change, right-click and select "Properties".
  3. Click "Ports" tab, and click "Configure Port..."
  4. Un-check the "SNMP Status Enabled" option.

To disable Bi-directional communication in teh driver:

  1. Open up Printers and Faxes.
  2. Select the printer you want to change, right-click and select "Properties".
  3. This option can be in two places:
    • Click "Configuration" tab, and click "Bi-Directional Setup...", change the option from "Automatic" to "Off" to turn off Bi-Directional Communication.
    • Under the "Ports" tab, uncheck the "Enable bidirectional support" option.
