More Information

The SETTABLE function does not work as expected in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009.

According to the C/SIDE Reference Guide, the SETTABLE function should make a record variable use the same table instance as a recordref variable:

However, in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009, this function instead incorrectly makes a recordref variable use the same table instance as a record variable, i.e. the opposite as stated in the documentation. In fact, the behaviour of the SETTABLE function is identical to the behaviour of the GETTABLE function in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009.

The SETTABLE function will be modified to behave in the way described in the C/SIDE reference guide in a future version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
