Changing the printer port on an offline print queue may cause the printer to remain offline

Symptoms

If a printer is in the state "Use Printer Offline", attempting to change the port of the device will successfully change the port, but the printer will continue to be in the offline state.

Cause

This is a known bug.

Resolution

Recreate the print queue using the desired port.  This will cause the print queue to function as expected and be online.
