Summary

This article describes how to insert a PowerPoint presentation into your Web page using Microsoft FrontPage 2000.

Before you can use all the features described in this article, you must have the following programs installed:
  • Microsoft FrontPage 2000

    -and-
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2000

Inserting a PowerPoint Presentation File into a Web Page

  1. Open your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  2. On the File menu, click Save as Web Page.
  3. In the Save As dialog box, locate the FrontPage Web you want to save to, and select it.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Open your Web page in FrontPage.
NOTE: When you view your PowerPoint presentation in FrontPage Explorer, you see a gray box. You must preview your page in a browser.

Importing the PowerPoint Presentation

  1. Open your Web.
  2. On the File menu, click Import.
  3. Click Add Folder and then select the PowerPoint folder.
  4. Click OK.
When you select Save As Web Page in PowerPoint, a presentation .htm file and a presentation folder are created. To import a PowerPoint presentation into a FrontPage Web, you must import both the file and the folder.
