Summary

This article describes how to change the color of an item within a Marquee tag.

Creating a Marquee Tag in FrontPage 2000

  1. Open a page.
  2. On the Insert menu, point to Component, and then click Marquee.
The Marquee tag is supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 2.0 and later; it is not supported by Netscape Navigator.

The Marquee Properties dialog box contains a list for selecting the marquee color.
  • To show the Marquee Properties dialog box in FrontPage, right-click the marquee and click Marquee Properties on the shortcut menu.

    If you select Automatic for the marquee background color, the marquee background will be the same color as the page background.
  • To change the color of the text in a marquee, right click the marquee and then click Font on the shortcut menu. Select the Font tab and then select the color you want.
It is not possible to place a background image in a marquee.
