This article describes the steps you need to view both hidden files and folders in a Microsoft FrontPage Web.

Viewing Hidden Files and Folders in a FrontPage Web

  1. In FrontPage, click Web Settings on the Tools menu.
  2. In the FrontPage Web Settings dialog box, Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Under Options, Click the "Show documents in hidden directories" check box.
  4. Click OK.
  5. FrontPage displays a dialog box that states the following:

    The changes you have made in the Advanced Settings tab will take effect after the web is refreshed from the server.

    You may receive a message prompting you to refresh the web.
  6. Click Yes to refresh the Web.

    NOTE: You can open the hidden folders in the Web and access their contents.
