Symptoms

When you follow the steps in the Ie4.txt file to run the "Regsvr32 Rsabase.dl" command, you may receive the following error message:
Regsvr32
LoadLibrary("rsabase.dl") failed.
GetlastError returns 0x00000485

Cause

In the Ie4.txt file, the Rsabase.dll file is misspelled as "Rsabase.dl."

Resolution

To resolve this problem, follow the instructions in the Ie4.txt file included with Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 1 and later.

To work around this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK:
    Regsvr32 Rsabase.dll
