Warning message when you start Access 2007 after you install Access 2007 Developer Extensions: "You don't have a source code control program (such as Microsoft Visual SourceSafe) installed on your machine"

Symptoms

You install Microsoft Office Access 2007 Developer Extensions. When you start Microsoft Office Access 2007, you receive the following warning message:
You don't have a source code control program (such as Microsoft Visual SourceSafe) installed on your machine. The source code control commands are therefore not available.

Cause

This problem occurs because source control software is not installed. For example, you do not have Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 2005 installed.

Workaround

If you do not want to use source control software, you can disable the warning message. To do this, click No when you receive the warning message.
