Updates for the .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and the .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 may cause the Microsoft Knowledge Base article number to appear instead of the full title of the update in the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel
Note The updates that correspond to this advisory include the phrase "Security Update." However, the titles should include the phrase "Update" because the content of these updates is not a fix for a security issue. These updates provide the new Extended Protection feature. This issue does not affect the installation of the updates in any way.
