Known issues with this security update

  • When you install the Japanese version of this security update, you may notice that the installation dialog box contains some Japanese text and some English text.

    Note This problem does not affect the functionality of the security update. This is only a problem with the appearance of the installation dialog box.
  • Expected behavior: When you install this security update by using the /nobackup switch, you expect the following results:
    • A backup folder is not created.
    • No Remove button is made available in the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.
    Actual behavior: A Remove button is unexpectedly made available in Add or Remove Programs. When you click Remove, this security update is not removed, and you receive a message that states that the security update will not be removed.
