Note The RC and IDX versions of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are pre-release versions, and security bulletin MS09-061 does not discuss pre-release versions. We have nevertheless made available security updates for these pre-release versions to help customers who have not upgraded to the official release of Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. However, we will discontinue these pre-release versions in the future. We recommend that customers migrate to the official release of Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 as soon as possible to continue receiving security updates.
