Symptoms

You sign an application by using a certificate that contains a publisher name that has an ampersand (&). When you open the application from an Internet Explorer window on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, the File Download - Security Warning dialog box appears. However, in the dialog box, the publisher name is displayed incorrectly. The name contains double ampersands.

For example, if the publisher name is "A&B," in the File Download - Security Warning dialog box, the publisher name is displayed as "A&&B."
