Service packs are the means by which Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 software updates are distributed. Service packs keep Commerce Server 2007 current. Additionally, service packs extend the functionality of the computer, and service packs update the functionality of the computer.
Service packs are cumulative. Each new service pack contains all the fixes that are included in the previous service packs together with any new fixes. You do not have to install a previous service pack before you install the latest service pack.
