An e-mail message is not sent to an account when you use the "Send Direct E-mail" command in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

Symptoms

When you use the Send Direct E-mail command to send an e-mail message to an account in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the e-mail message is not sent to the account. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • The account contains a primary contact.
  • The primary contact contains an e-mail address that you created in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
Instead, the e-mail message is sent to the e-mail address of the primary contact.
