You may have to perform additional steps if you have customizations that have an ntext field in the view. After you install the hotfix, you must remove the ntext field, publish the customization, and then add the ntext field to the view.
Note The following steps refer to the
All E-mails view. However, you can follow these steps for any view.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Start Microsoft CRM.

Click Settings, click Customization, and then click Customize Entity.
- Double-click E-mail, click Forms and Views, and then double-click All E-mails.
- Click the column that has the ntext type, click Remove, and then click OK.
- Click Save and Close.
- On the Actions menu, click Publish.
- Click Forms and Views, and then double-click All E-mails.
- Click Add Columns, click to select the check box for the column that has the ntext type, and then click OK.
- Click Save and Close.
- On the Actions menu, click Publish.
