Microsoft Outlook stops responding when you click a command button on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM toolbar

Symptoms

You may experience the following problem in Microsoft Office Outlook when the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Outlook is installed. When you click a command button on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM toolbar, Microsoft Outlook stops responding. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You click Go Offline before you click the command button.
  • You click the command button before the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Outlook updates the Go Offline button to the Go Online button.
Note If you click the command button after the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Outlook updates the Go Offline button to the Go Online button, this problem does not occur.
