Symptoms

Changes for Queue and Product records are not reflected after you change those records offline in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Microsoft Office Outlook.

Consider the following scenario:
  • An activity is assigned to you in your "Assigned" queue in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
  • You go offline in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Outlook.
  • You accept the activity from the "Assigned" queue, and the activity is correctly moved to your "In Progress" queue.
  • You go online.
In this scenario, the activity incorrectly appears in your "Assigned" queue in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Note If you assign the activity to another queue when you work offline, the activity also incorrectly stays in the "Assigned" queue. The activity does not move to the queue to which you assigned it.

Consider the following scenario:
  • You go offline in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Outlook.
  • You add a substitute product to an existing product.
  • You add an existing product to a Kit product.
  • You go online.
In this scenario, the added substitute product and the added existing product are not listed.

Note If you delete a substitute product, or if you delete an existing product that you added to a Kit product, the added products are not deleted when you go online.
