Symptoms

This issue occurs when you set the value of the FEATURE_USE_WINDOWEDSELECTCONTROL registry entry to 1 in the following registry path to enable the Windowed SELECT control instead of the Windowless SELECT control:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_USE_WINDOWEDSELECTCONTROL
