Automatic Deployment Rule schedule properties change unexpectedly in System Center Configuration Manager

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

After you manually run an Automatic Deployment Rule (ADR) in Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1 (SP1)or Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 2 (SP2), multiple schedule properties are changed. These changes affect future runs of the ADR. For example, the Software Available Time property may be configured as 12 hours and the Deadline property as 20 days. However, after the first run of the ADR, the Software Available Time property will be configured as 1 hour and the Deadline property as 2 days.

To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix. Applying this hotfix will prevent unexpected schedule changes with future ADRs. The hotfix will not automatically correct changes that were made to ADRs that were previously run manually.
