This article describes an update that resolves a post-release problem that is caused by update 3033889. After you install update 3033889 on systems that use the Japanese, Korean, or Chinese input method editor (IME), Windows Explorer stops responding, or "hangs," and may crash. This problem occurs only on computers that are running Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, or Windows 8.
