FIX: Pass-through pipeline suspends message incorrectly when XML is invalid in BizTalk Server 2010

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You are using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 that has no connection to the Internet.
  • You receive an XML message that references to "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd."
  • You use a pass-through receive pipeline to receive the XML file in BizTalk Server 2010.
  • The XML message is invalid for BizTalk Server 2010 because the server cannot connect to the Internet.
  • You enable Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), and have a tracking profile applied.
In this scenario, the pass-through pipeline incorrectly suspends the XML message. Additionally, the tracking profile does not track any payload specific data. Only the port receives time and name.
