Sitka fonts cannot be printed correctly by using an XPS print driver in Windows

Symptoms

Assume that you try to use a printer that uses a v4 PCL6 or PostScript printer driver to print documents. In this scenario, you cannot print documents in Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1,Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, or Windows Server 2012.

How to obtain this update or hotfix

To resolve this issue, we have released update rollup and hotfixes for Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1,Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Server 2012.

Before you install this hotfix, check the prerequisite.

The update rollup fixes many other issues in addition to the issue that the hotfix fixes. We recommend that you use the update rollup. The update rollup is larger than the hotfix. Therefore, the update rollup takes longer to download.

Hotfix for Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, or Windows Server 2012
