Error "Your camera isn't set up" in a Lync Web App video call on a MacBook Pro or a MacBook Air in Lync Server 2013

Symptoms

You try to make a video call by using Microsoft Lync Web App on a MacBook Pro Late 2013 or MacBook Air (mid 2013) laptop. In this situation, you cannot see the video. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Your camera isn't set up, or you're already using it. You can set it up in Options - look for the Video Device settings.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
2937310 August 2014 Cumulative Update 5.0.8308.738 for Lync Server 2013 (Front End Server and Edge Server)

More Information

This issue occurs because the new FaceTime camera in a MacBook Pro Late 2013 or MacBook Air (mid 2013) laptop does not support the SequenceGrabber API. Therefore, the camera does not work in Lync Web App.
