PDF file pages are blank when you open the file by using a Windows Store app in Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You use a Windows Store app to open a PDF file from a URL. Additionally, the Windows Store app uses the Windows.Storage.Streams.RandomAccessStreamReference class.
  • You wait for 30 seconds, and then you scroll through the pages of the PDF file.
In this scenario, after you view some of the pages in the PDF file, the remaining pages may be blank.

Resolution
