View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • A user (user A) configures Microsoft Lync 2013 to forward unanswered calls to another user (user B). For more information about how to do this, go to More information.
  • A user (user C) makes a call to user A in Lync 2013. Then, the call is forwarded to user B.
  • User C redials the last dialed number in Lync 2013.
In this scenario, Lync 2013 dials to user B incorrectly.

Cause

This issue occurs because Lync 2013 does not check whether a call is forwarded before it updates the lastDialedNumber setting. Therefore, Lync 2013 considers the number that calls are forwarded to the last dialed number incorrectly.
