About this update

This update enables the administrator to use the AllowOfficeContent policy in Microsoft Lync Server 2013 to disable users’ ability to upload and show a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation in the Lync Web App in an online meeting.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
2937297 August 2014 Cumulative Update 5.0.8308.738 for Lync Server 2013, web components server


Note To disable the PowerPoint feature, after you install this update, you must run the following command in Lync Server Management Shell:
Set-CsConferencingPolicy -AllowOfficeContent $False
