Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a computer that is running Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.
  • You use a shared Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) provider to remotely query the extensible switch team.
In this scenario, the query fails and you receive the following error message:

Resolution
