Incorrect orientation for touch input when you wake up the computer from sleep mode in Windows RT 8.1 or Windows 8.1

View products that this article applies to.

This issue occurs because the touch input digitizer is enabled before the monitor is active when you wake up the computer from sleep mode in Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2. Therefore, when you do not open the computer in the default orientation, the touch input digitizer is not synchronized with the actual orientation.
