This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Office Web Apps hotfix package that is dated November 11, 2014. Click the "Hotfix Download Available" button to get the hotfix. This hotfix has a prerequisite.

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you create a Word document. You type some Hebrew text with numbers into the document and save the document as a PDF file. You open the PDF file, copy the numbers and paste them to a new document. In this situation, the numbers may appear with the digits reversed (for example as 321 instead of 123) or with different digits completely.
  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You open the Input Method Editor (IME) pad in a Word document.
    • You make some changes in the document.
    • You leave the IME pad open and move the pointer over Style in the ribbon to show style preview.
    • You save the Word document.
    • You make some further changes in the document.
    • You save and close the Word document.
    In this scenario, when you open the document again, the changes are missing.

  • When you use a third-party Instant Messaging & Presence (IM&P) provider, the free/busy status of the contacts cannot be displayed in the contact cards in Microsoft Outlook.

    Note     After you apply this hotfix, Outlook can now supply the free/busy information to the contact card when the provider requests Outlook to supply the data.
