Summary

This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Office Web Apps hotfix package that is dated October 14, 2014.

INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you open an email message that contains a linked image in Outlook 2010, Outlook tries to download the image, and displays a Contacting the server for information dialog box. However, the dialog box does not contain the URL path of the server.

Prerequisites

To install this hotfix package, you must have either Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Office Web Apps Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed.
