INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Assume that you open a meeting request, and then you click the Propose New Time button. A window opens to let you propose a new time. However, the window does not contain enough information, such as detailed free/busy information.
  • Assume that you set up an internal URL and an external URL for Exchange Web Services. The MailTips might not work when the primary URL for Exchange Web Services does not work.
  • Assume that you set up an Internet email account in Outlook 2013. When you use the Scheduling Assistant feature, Outlook might crash.
  • Assume that you use Group Policy Object (GPO) to digitally sign all email messages in Outlook 2013, and then you forward a meeting invite or a calendar item. In this situation, you might receive the following error message:
The message you are sending cannot be processed by the underlying security system. To reset the system, turn off the security options on this message, then save and close it. Then try the operation again. (Be sure to turn security back on before sending.)
  • Assume that you receive some email messages from a contact where the display name contains one or more hyphens (-). When you right-click an email message from this contact, select Find Related, and then click Messages from Sender, no result is returned.
  • Assume that you set up an Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) account (for example, a Hotmail account or an outlook.com account) in Outlook 2013, Outlook might crash shortly after startup when it syncs the calendar.
